Effective upon booking confirmation with WildQuest Safaris
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By confirming a safari or tour with WildQuest Safaris, you acknowledge that you have read, fully understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set forth below.
1. General Booking Policy
WildQuest Safaris arranges and provides safari services including, but not limited to:
● Ground transportation (Toyota Land Cruiser 4×4, safari vans, 25-seater minibuses for group transfers)
● Accommodation (camping, hotels, tented camps, lodges, and mountain huts on Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru)
● Trekking and adventure activities, in collaboration with independent service providers.
To confirm your reservation:
● A 30% deposit of the total safari cost is required at the time of booking.
● The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival, or may be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport (if previously agreed).
● Bookings made within 45 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of confirmation.
2. Prices & Adjustments
● All prices quoted are subject to change without prior notice until confirmed, due to fluctuations in park fees, accommodation rates, fuel prices, and government levies.
● WildQuest Safaris reserves the right to adjust pricing in the event of currency exchange fluctuations or cost increases beyond our control. However, we will make every effort to minimize price changes once bookings are confirmed.
3. Included in Tour Price
Unless stated otherwise, the tour price includes:
● Accommodation as specified in the itinerary
● All park entrance fees and conservation levies
● Transport in a 4×4 open-roof Toyota Land Cruiser for optimal game viewing
● Services of a professional English-speaking driver/guide
● Mineral water during game drives
● Armed ranger services where required
● Airport transfers (if part of your confirmed itinerary)
Additional language guides (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese, etc.) are available at an extra charge and must be arranged in advance.
4. Game Viewing & Wildlife Encounters
● Guests must follow safety instructions provided by guides, rangers, and skippers during all activities (e.g., game drives, walking safaris, or boat trips).
5. Transportation
● Vehicles used are maintained in roadworthy condition, but WildQuest Safaris is not liable for delays, punctures, or mechanical issues resulting from poor road conditions, especially during the rainy season.
● Vehicle type and capacity will depend on the itinerary and number of travelers.
6. Accommodation
● Safari accommodations are typically based on shared double or twin rooms, triples, family units, or tents, depending on your booking.
● Single room supplements apply and are subject to availability.
● Special preferences should be communicated during booking and are subject to confirmation.
7. Modifications & Amendments
● If you wish to amend your safari or tour after confirmation, please notify us in writing as early as possible.
● We will do our best to accommodate changes, but cannot guarantee availability for last-minute requests.
8. Cancellation Policy
Please contact us directly to understand applicable cancellation charges depending on how far in advance the notice is given.
9. Liability
● WildQuest Safaris acts as an agent for hotels, transport companies, and other independent contractors.
● We shall not be liable for any injury, loss, delay, or damage arising from acts of God, government actions, war, civil disturbances, or other unforeseen circumstances.
● We highly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to travel.
10. Travel Documents
It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that they have valid travel documents, including passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other necessary permits.
11. Responsibility of the Guest
● Respect wildlife, local customs, and community guidelines.
● Comply with the instructions provided by guides and staff for your safety and the preservation of the environment.
