This 5-day safari adventure takes you through two of Tanzania’s most iconic parks—Nyerere National Park (Selous) and Mikumi National Park. Experience game drives, walking safaris, boat cruises, and cultural encounters with the Maasai, all while spotting the Big Five and other incredible wildlife.

Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es salaam - Nyerere National Park.

Day1:Meet and greet with your professional English speaking driver guide specialist in Botany and zoology short briefing about your trip at 06:00 am where you will be staying/Hotel in Dar es salaam and drive to Nyerere National Park (Formerly the Selous Game reserve) takes 3hours and half with packed lunch, a day game drive on different routes of wildlife especially along the the river drive might river Rufiji spotting all including more than 350 different species of birds resident and immigrants elephants, buffaloes, zeras, lions, waterbucks, crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, impals, bushbucks, wilderbeasts, gerenuks, kudus, sable antelopes, hyenas and more through an ox-bow lake (lake Nzelekela). Day 2: Nyerere National Park full-day game drive.

After breakfast at 07:00 am start a full day game drive with your driver on interested trails planned observing more wildlife as you can such as lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, kudus, elephants, wildebeests, gerenuk, bushbucks reedbucks, waterbucks, buffaloes, hyenas, warthogs, jackals, impalas, sable antelopes and more. During midday, enjoy a bush lunch at a designated picnic site overlooking the fabulous view of the mighty Rufiji River, and then continue with a game drive en route back to the Camp/Lodge. Day 3: Nyerere National Park - Mikumi National Park..

Pre breakfast(just hot coffee) start the walking safari with an amed ranger for good 2hours ( touch a nature in different style) more closer to the wildlife on foot experience their natural habitats followed by the insects such as dung beetles and others, walk back to the Camp/Lodge for full breakfast then drive to Mikumi National Park game drive en-route through the ranges of Ulugulu mountains via Morogoro town, upon arrival check in Camp/Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 4: Mikumi National Park full-day game drive.

Breakfast at 06:00 am afterwards starts a full day game drive insearch of wildlife and later have a glance of the hippo pool, get outside the vehicle and the fantastic photos of the hippos, crocodiles and other animals that come for the water then proceed into several trails watching all the wildlife such as lions when they are active in the morning, group of buffaloes, elephants, zebras, wilderbeasts, implas, jackals, giraffes, baboons, etc. mid- afternoon, take a bush lunch and continue till sunset. Day 5: Mikumi National Park - Dar es salaam.

On this day, after breakfast at 07:30 am, visit the Maasai village to experience their traditions and culture in daily life especially singing, dancing and typical handmade crafts like earrings, bracelets, hand rings, necklaces. If interested, do shopping at an affordable price compared to town, drop-off at the Hotel/terminal ferry to Zanzibar or the Airport. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch
