07:00 AM – Meet and greet your friendly driver/guide in Dar es Salaam for a short briefing, then begin your journey north to Bagamoyo—just 68 km away. This coastal town once served as a major slave and ivory trade port and later became the first capital of German East Africa. It holds deep historical and cultural significance to the region and the world.

13:00 PM – Enjoy a relaxing lunch and free time on the beautiful shores of Travelers Lodge, right on the Indian Ocean.

Overnight: Travelers Lodge, Bagamoyo
After breakfast, depart Bagamoyo by 07:00 AM for a scenic 75 km drive to Saadani National Park, Tanzania’s only wildlife reserve that borders the Indian Ocean.
Here, wildlife roams freely on beaches where waves meet the savannah—a truly rare and magical setting.
Upon arrival:
This is a day of remarkable contrasts—from open plains to palm-fringed shores.

Overnight: Saadani Park Cottage
Start the day with a pre-breakfast walking safari at 06:00 AM, guided by an armed ranger. Walk through the bush as the sun rises, listening to bird calls and spotting wildlife on foot.
Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, followed by a short rest.
Next up: a 2-hour boat safari along the scenic Wami River, guided by a knowledgeable skipper. Cruise past:
