This short but thrilling safari takes you to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve), Tanzania’s largest protected wildlife area. With a mix of game drives, walking safaris, and boat safaris, you’ll experience diverse wildlife, stunning landscapes, and the mighty Rufiji River.

Itinerary
Day 1: Dar es salaam - Nyerere National Park
Meet and greet with your professional English speaking driver guide specialized in botany and zoology and get a short briefing about your trip at 06:00 am where you will be staying(Hotel in Dar es salaam),and drive to Nyerere National Park (Formerly tknown as Selous Game reserve). It takes 3 and half hours with packed lunch, a day game drive on different routes of wildlife especially along the the river drive you will see the mighty Rufiji river spotting more than 350 different species of birds, resident and immigrants elephants, buffaloes, zebras, lions, waterbucks, crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, impals, bushbucks, wildebeasts, gerenuks, kudus, sable antelopes, hyenas and more through an ox-bow lake that’s lake Nzelekela, Siwandu, Manze. In the evening, sitting by the sunset on the drive back to the Camp/Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Nyerere National park - Dar es Salaam
Awaken to the Adventure!
Pre breakfast(just hot coffee) and starting the walking safari with an armed ranger for a good 2 hours,(touch of nature in a different style) more closer to the wildlife on foot experiencing their natural habitats of the insects such as dung beetles and others, walk back to the Camp/Lodge for full breakfast rest a bit and continue with boat safari(skipper guide) for another 2 hours back to the Camp/Lodge take the packed lunch leisure drive back to Dar es Salaam drop-off at Hotel /Airport/Ferry terminal to Zanzibar.
